As Americans, we have a right to be certain that our votes are counted as cast.
If you want to help make sure every vote is counted as cast on November 7, 2006, you've come to the right place!
We are citizens from many groups - determined to win back our democracy by enforcement of our lawful voting rights.
The Purpose
The purpose of Rapid Response is to ensure that our votes are counted as cast and that the certified elections truly reflect the will of the people.
Rapid Response is an effort to stop, on election day itself, corruption in counting votes or obstructing lawful voters. Rapid Response includes:
- legal intervention, with law enforcement
- national media coverage
- national citizen demonstrations for "no-confidence" results, and
- demanding independent verification of results.
The Strategy
The Rapid Response strategy is quite simple. We must go to the strategic places where votes are counted to observe and ensure that our elections are being conducted openly, legally, and fairly.
If a team of observers determines that the public cannot have confidence in the vote counting process because of the severity of legal violations, we will call for public demonstrations across the nation. We will inform the broader public and demand that only correct outcomes of key races are certified by the states.
The Actions
You can volunteer to participate in Rapid Response Here. Some of the ways we can work together to ensure that our votes are counted as cast include:
- monitoring elections,
- sounding the alarm when election laws are violated,
- ensuring that on election day law enforcement will stop illegal efforts to corrupt the election process,
- "being the media" to alert the broader public of election violations, and
- if necessary, participating in a national demonstration to demand recounts or re-votes in elections suspected of massive fraud or irregularities.

The best way to ensure that every vote is counted as cast is to help observe the elections process and, if necessary, participate in demonstrations to demand that only correct election outcomes are certified. You can also help by donating to support the participation of other volunteers.
Donate Money - Your donations will support local election observation teams, legal teams, media outreach and coordination, independent exit polls for as many key races as possible, and, if necessary, the capacity to hold massive, on-going demonstrations across the country.
Volunteer - You can make a difference by:
- working with a local coordinator responsible for organizing a Rapid Response team for an election;
- being an election observer responsible for monitoring the conduct of an election, videotaping and reporting violations or efforts to suppress and disenfranchise voters; and
- participating in a public demonstration to alert the country and the world that massive fraud appears to have thwarted the will of the people in one or more elections and to demand a recount or re-vote to ensure the candidate truly elected by the people takes office.
